Fanta Chocolate and Orange Potent Parfait

Chocolate pudding layered with orange and yogurt sorbet and crushed chocolate cookies

INGREDIENTS: (makes 4 parfaits)

– Package store bought DARK CHOCOLATE pudding (great value is available at
Walmart) OR if you choose to make your own here is my FAVORITE chocolate pudding recipe below…
– 2 can of Fanta
– 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
– 10 cubes of ice
– 12 crushed chocolate cookies
– Plastic zipper bag
– Rolling pin
– 2 kitchen towels
– 8 candy corns


  1. Make your pudding according to the directions on the packet OR make your own pudding from scratch below:

The easiest Dark chocolate pudding

  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 3 large egg yolks
  • 1 dark chocolate candy bar (6.8 ounces), melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • In a large saucepan, mix sugar, cornstarch and salt. Whisk in milk until smooth. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened and bubbly. Reduce heat to low; cook and stir 2 minutes longer. Remove from heat.
  • In a small bowl, whisk a small amount of hot mixture into egg yolks; return all to pan, whisking constantly. Bring to a gentle boil; cook and stir 2 minutes. Remove from heat.
  • Gradually stir in melted chocolate and vanilla until blended. Cool 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Transfer to a bowl; press plastic wrap onto surface of pudding. Refrigerate until cold. If desired, top servings with candies.
  1. Add Orange Fanta, yogurt and ice cubes to a blender, blend until a thick smoothie consistency
  1. Put crushed chocolate cookies in a plastic zipper bag. put a kitchen towel underneath and one on top of the bag and use a rolling pin to crush the cookies into a cookie powder
  1. Layer your parfait! Start with a layer of chocolate pudding
  1. Add a layer of the Fanta sorbet
  1. Add a layer of cookie crumble
  1. Continue until you are at the top of the parfait cup
  1. Top with two candy corn fangs
  1. Serve
